So this is how I spent a couple of days last week. Canning! Ryan's Mom brought me some tomatoes, and I had a bunch from my garden. I canned 13 quarts of stewed tomatoes, 8 quarts of spagetti sauce, 12 quarts of salsa and 24 pints of pear jam. My kitchen was a disaster afterwards but it was worth it. It all tastes so yummy! Here is a picture of the first morning's worth of work.

Hey! I tried that this summer as well! I stuck to peaches and pears, and some pretty nasty peach jam... I should try tomatoes. We go through those like mad. Send me directions!
