Happy Birthday Little Miss Sophia Kaye

We can hardly believe that she is one! What a crazy and fun year it has been! We are so blessed to be Sophia's parents! We love her death and can't imagine life without her! It is so fun to watch her learn new things which in most cases means making messes. She kills us! She has such a fun yet sassy personality! She definitely is all attitude!! I keep asking myself where she got it! So for now we are going to blame it on her namesake Grandma Kaye!
The Pre Party
We went to Kanab on the 16th and just had to to have a pre-party at my parents house on the because they couldn't make it up for the real deal. My mom was so cute. She went and bought a carrot cake and took the carrot icing off the top and added sprinkles to make it look more like a birthday cake. Sophie loved the Happy Birthday Balloon. She put on a show, and once she decided you could eat the icing and cake there was no stopping her. We were able to celebrate with Grandma and Grandpa Heaton (her great grandparents) and Uncle Josh, Aunt Darci and cousin Ainsley as well. It was so much fun! Then Grandma and Grandpa Bentley gave her a Cabbage Patch Baby. I thought she was too young for a doll, but I stand corrected. She drags her baby everywhere. She watch Aunt Darci take care of Ainsley so she had it down. She would shove or bang the bottle in her mouth, give her big wide open mouth kisses and even rock her. We were amazed at how well she knew how to be a little momma! Thanks Mom and Dad for the party!! Sophie sure does love you!

The balloon tastes pretty good too!

The Real Deal!!
We had such a great time with friends and family! Somehow we didn't manage to get too many pictues so I will have to get them from the rest of you. Thanks for spoiling our already rotten child! She loves other kids so she had a blast with her cousins and Naomi! She had to stay up and play with her toys after everyone left. Happy Birthday to our Little Lady!!

Our little Beethoven

We were in Kanab a couple weeks ago and Sophia loved Grandma's piano. She would keep going into Grandpa's office to play it. Well Grandma actually put her on the bench and let her go.

She became Grandpa's girl while we were there. I trapped her in the living room while I went to take a shower and Grandpa came to the rescue. I heard him down there singing 10 Little Indians and Patty Cake to her, so I decided to let them have a little alone time. She was fine until he put her down! Dad has the cute pictures of their time together. When I get them I will post them.
