Momma's Lifesavers

Besides both sets of grandparents these are Momma's Lifesavers. I wouldn't be able to get anything done without Daddy, the swing and the bouncer. Ryan always laughs when I put her in the swing or bouncer and then run to jump in the shower. It usually buys me about 10 minutes. I am not complaining because at this point I will take what I can get. Sophia has turned our lives upside down, but we wouldn't change a thing. What a blessing she is in our lives! She is definitely a keeper!

The Bottle and the Burp

We are trying to see if Sophie will take a bottle so that I can go to Young Womens and leave her with her Daddy. This was a successful attempt yesterday after church. She managed to fall asleep while Ryan was burping her, so I couldn't pass up the photo opportunity.

Jealous Cousin

Maddy was not happy that her mommy was holding little Sophie. She climbed across the couch to the recliner just to let Mom know who is number one! Maddy what are you going to do when you get a little brother or sister?

Wild Sleeper

So normally when Sophie goes down for a nap or bed she is swaddled up snug as a bug and she usually stays that way. Well yesterday I went in to check on her and this is what I found. I have no idea how she managed to get the blanket up over her head, and obviously she had some good kicking action going on. I guess it is time to strap her in the bouncer because she has become a wild sleeper!

Daddy Time

Sophia and Mommy both love it when Daddy gets home from school. This is her "Daddy Time." I love this picture! There is just something about Daddys and their little girls.

Onry Faces

Ryan loves the faces that Sophia makes when she wakes up. He calls them her onry faces. He captured them on film the other day. We sure do love this little girl!

Please don't wake me up!

The yawn!

Not Yet!

The big stretch.

Maybe I can prolong it a little longer.

The scream! I am hungry now!

The Binkie

Momma finally let me have a binkie. Sometimes I really like it and well other times it just doesn't quite do the trick.

Our Little Angel!

I love Grandpa B!

Sophie loves her Grandpa! It is a good thing he was there to fix her little neck after she was born. Those dang forceps were brutal!
Sucking on her hand again!

Sophie's First Real Bath

The pictures say it all!
I was happy to start with.

Not now! Daddy is trying to keep me modest for the camera.

Still screaming!

Going Home!

Daddy getting me ready to put in my carseat so we can leave the hospital and go home. The fist in my mouth is a must!

Little Sophie sure was worked up when it was time to put her in the carseat and come home. She managed to kick her socks off and finally crashed about half way home. I think it was harder on Mom and Dad. We are just grateful to have her home!
