Halee's B-Day Party

My neice Halee turned 9 yesterday. She wanted a Hannah Montana Birthday Party. Jenn called to see if I would come and help her do their hair and makeup. The girls all got dressed up and then they walked down the red carpet and did a little karaoke to Hannah. Oh to be nine again! It was hilarious to watch! Sophie had a great time with Uncle Eric! I think I have found a babysitter. Just don't tell Grandma Kaye.

Sophie and her cousin Caden. I think he will be a great babysitter too!

Baby Sumo

We took Sophia in for her 2 month check up on Monday. She now weighs 13.1 pounds and is 22 inches long. She is our little chunk! We love all of her rolls, and you just can't help but pinch her chubby little cheeks. I sent this picture to my parents before we went down there and my Mom thought that I had photoshopped her head onto another body. No this is really her, and we love every single inch of her!

Kanab

So it has been awhile since I have had time to sit down and post. I will try to play catch up. We went to Kanab last weekend to visit my parents and also to take Sophie down to see her Great Grandparents. We had a great weekend! Thanks Mom and Dad! Ryan went hunting with the Dad and Aaron, and Mom and I watched the baby and the puppies while working on blankets for Mexico. We love the new hot tub! It was so relaxing ! We can't wait for Dad to get his central line out to really be able to enjoy it. Anyway, we were worried about traveling with Sophie because she usually hates her car seat, but she surprised us. She slept the whole way down and the whole way back. It truly was amazing! We will have to go to Kanab every week. It was so good to see Grandma and Grandpa Heaton. They gave her the cutest book! Perfect for our soon to be little tomboy. She loves it already!

Grandma Merlyn and Little Sophie

She finally decided that Grandpa could hold her. Grandma has little Max.

Our Beautiful Baby

So yes we know that we are proud parents. We just can't help it when we have a little girl that looks like this. I took these pictures the other day, and Ryan has been teaching me how to have a little fun in photoshop. This is what I came up with. We love our little Sophia!!!!

Madison B-Day Party

We went to my neice's B-day party last night. It was so much fun! Lacey and Nate did a great job putting it together, and Maddy was hilarious! She definitley knew it was her day! They had a balloon guy come and the kids and adults loved it! Sophie got a little frog because she is our "little frog." She keeps her legs scrunched up to her chest just like her Momma did. He made a tank for my main Army man! Thanks for the fun night!

Whose the Favorite Auntie?

So there is always a battle in our family as to who is the favorite aunt! We all claim that we are the favorite. This was shortly after Aunt Jenn and Aunt Lacey were trying to convince Sophie who is her favorite auntie. Sophie says that we love both of them just the same!

Sassy

Halee aka Sassy came over during the conference break and afternoon session. We had a great time making Heather's yummy Pride of Iowa cookies. She had just the right touch with Sophie. I am excited because Jenn's kids are going to be just the right age to babysit for us.

Halee rocked or bounced her right to sleep.

This one is for you Josh! I had to take a picture of her shirt because Josh gave Halee the nickname Sassy several years ago.
