Terrific 2's

My little sister always says it is the "Terrific 2's" not the "Terrible 2's!" We are hoping that holds true for our little ball of fire! Oh how we love our little Sophia Kaye! We can't believe that she is already 2! We had a fun little luau to celebrate her special day!
This was the invite...
The Spread...

Her "Monkey" Cake that she has talked about for days!

Her Guests...Thanks everyone!

Baby in Mommy's Tummy

I know that I am horrible about the whole blogging thing, especially this summer! So I guess I should post about the fact that there is a "baby in Mommy's tummy," as Sophie would say. Her little sister is set to arrive around the first week of October! We are not quite sure what we are going to do with two seems how the one we have keeps us super busy! Ryan keeps saying to my belly "mellow thoughts." Hopefully! If you have any great names please pass them on to us seems how we are struggling in that department!

OH CUTE DADDY

Sophia absolutely adores her Daddy! He gets home from work and as soon as he walks in the door she goes and grabs him and says "Come on Dad!" Then she takes him to her room to play or makes him get down and crawl so she can ride him like a horse. He can't leave the house with getting a kiss from her too, and we usually have to stop by the shop at least once a day so she can see Daddy. She tells me to roll down the window so she can ask for popcorn and of course her kiss! Well a few days ago she was sitting on our bathroom counter while I was doing her hair. She grabbed Ryan's wallet and started pulling out everything until she found his diver's license and then she turned to me and said "Oh Cute Daddy!" That is exactly what Mommy thinks too! Trading Hats!

Mooooo!

Sophia loves animals! We took her down to Grandpa's 7V Ranch so she could see the cows. She loved it even though it was freezing cold!

Hog Canyon, Elephant Butte and Barrack's Canyon

Hog Canyon is right outside of Kanab. We took a ride Monday morning. It was beautiful, but had some crazy trails. Papito decided to take us on the Black Diamonds. This is the hill that Peppe decided to climb. The rest of us sat watching scared to death. GO DAD!! It is a good thing that Momma Jo was not on board.
Nate at the top. This is looking up.
And this is looking down. The pictures don't do it justice!

Sophie loves her Daddy. This is Barrack's Canyon. That is the Virgin River in the distance.

The end of the road! Thanks Mom and Dad for the great weekend!

New Member of the Family

GOTCHA! Our new family member is our side by side recreational vehicle! We are still trying to come up with a name, so if you have any ideas let us know. We took it down to southern Utah last weekend to play with Mom and Dad. We had a blast at Sand Hollow State Park.

Our Teryx with Peppe the Rhino.

Sophia absolutely loves it! She is always saying "RIDE RIDE" and was so good to wear her helmet. It is great because we just strapped her seat belt in the back and away we went.

We definitely have an outdoor's girl! She can't get enough of it!

Playing on the Dunes!

We thought this was the Flintstones, but I guess we were wrong.

Sophia loves her Grandma and Grandpa!

We hiked up to the top of these rocks and Sophia decided she wanted down to climb around for herself. NOT!!

Flying Port-a-Potties and Christmas Lights

During the warm before the storm we went up to Temple Square to see the Christmas Lights. We are sure glad we picked the day we did, because it seems like it has been snowing since. Grandma and Grandpa Frisby, and Aunt Mary came with us, and we had a great time. We were greeted down town with flying Port-a-Potties. Sorry the pictures not that great, but that was the best that I could do from a moving vehicle. Sophia loved riding Trax, seeing all the people, and noise of down town SLC, and getting attention from all five of us! She was mad when we wouldn't let her cross the ropes to go and play with the sheep, but kept saying "baa, baa." We are such mean parents! We love this time of year and were grateful to spend the day with family and see the beautiful lights on the Temple grounds.
